Trust validation service enables verification of the validity of electronic signatures and seals in digital documents. It ensures their legal reliability and is used when it is necessary to confirm the authenticity of signed documents received from other parties.

In accordance with the eIDAS Regulation (EU) No. 910/2014, the verification process confirms or denies whether:

  • The signature or seal is uniquely linked to the signer;

  • The certificate used to confirm the signature or seal was qualified at the time of signing;

  • The qualified certificate was issued by a trusted service provider and was valid at the time of signing;

  • The signer’s identity data is accurate and properly provided;

  • The signature was created using a qualified electronic signature or seal creation device;

  • The integrity of the signed data has not been compromised.
