The Trust Assurance Service is designed to verify the validity of qualified electronic signatures and electronic seals embedded in electronic documents.

During validation, both advanced and qualified electronic signatures and seals are checked to determine their legal validity and trustworthiness. Verified signatures and seals carry indisputable legal weight and are accepted as strong evidence in legal proceedings.

This service is especially useful when receiving signed documents from external parties or other countries, where it is essential to ensure the authenticity and validity of all embedded signatures and seals.

Funkcijos

In accordance with the eIDAS Regulation (EU) No. 910/2014, the verification process confirms or denies whether:

  • The signature or seal is uniquely linked to the signer;

  • The certificate used to confirm the signature or seal was qualified at the time of signing;

  • The qualified certificate was issued by a trusted service provider and was valid at the time of signing;

  • The signer’s identity data is accurate and properly provided;

  • The signature was created using a qualified electronic signature or seal creation device;

  • The integrity of the signed data has not been compromised.
