At NEVDA, summer celebrations are more than just events. They are a consistent part of our culture that brings people together in person and in a relaxed setting, where things not seen in meetings or on screens come to light.
In July, more than fifty colleagues gathered in the Gripiškės area for a day that started with kayaking. This is a NEVDA tradition that has taken place 24 times. Some chose a faster pace, others went slower to enjoy the route. The rhythm was different, but we were all moving in the same direction, just like in our daily work.
After the trip, the team moved into the Chill & Grill part of the day. The idea was to spend time freely without strict schedules and to focus on each other. The gathering felt like a small summer festival where the main goal was to connect, not follow an agenda.
Activities ranged from team-based challenges to details that created a festive atmosphere. Everything encouraged participation and reminded us to enjoy the moment.
What brings the NEVDA team together is not just the projects we work on but the shared understanding that comes from real experiences. Events like this help strengthen the bond between colleagues. They also create opportunities to connect with those we usually see only on screen and support the growth of a strong internal culture based on people and collaboration.
